Default NIMH battery repair

So my battery broke. Well a wire disconnected. Now I have experience soldering but have never done a battery. It's a dura trax onyx battery

So what I'm asking is can I just clean up the old solder point and 're solder back together? Or will this cause problems? If ya know how to repair this please let me know?

Just make sure both the battery and the cable are tinned well; with a hot enough iron (I would recommended at least a 60w iron), you should be good to go. Oh, and try not to short circuit the wires. That big, loud spark is always a wake me up.
