Setting Charge / Discharge cut-off limits on Triton
I have the Triton EQ 2 and am learning how to use it to charge the batteries. So far, love it in how it balances, charges the packs.
Have a question though:
At the end of the day, if I want to charge the batteries to 11.8 V for storage, is there a way to set a stop on this voltage when reached ? Otherwise, I have to stand and watch it. Same for discharge. If I want to discharge a pack to 11.8 V , can I set this value and the Triton when reaches this value terminates the discharge ?
Thanks
Cary

Unfortunately, I think the Triton charger doesn't have a "storage charge mode" setting to stop charging/discharging the LiPo cells to their 3.8v/cell storage voltage. I believe the discharger/balance setting only has preset values depending on chemistry of battery. The Triton will only shut off automatically at the end of a balance charge; a timer setting, or cells reach 3v/cell when discharging. That charger was probably made in the early stages of the LiPo battery era.
