Default How can I power my led light bar to a lipo pack.

Just purchased this light bar and I want to wire it straight to a lipo pack. I can't seem to find any information on this online, hopefully someone here can help me out. I was thinking of soldering the ends of the light bar to a tamiya connector, and just plugging it into my pack. Is that the way to go?

Hot racing axial light bar for my axial scx10. Thinking about going with an rc4wd light as well. Just don't know what I should do. Could I just solder the wire from the light, to the end of a xt60 connector?

If it's a 2-cell lipo then yes.

It's a 3s lipo. Will that be too much to power the lights by themselves? Even an rc4wd light bar, vanquish, or hot racing?

Use an external BEC to bring the voltage down to optimum power. I'm sure there is specs listed for the lights somewhere.

Program the output to the lowest minimum voltage required for the set of lights you are using.

So, I have a light bar, wired to the programmed BEC, that will be wired to a xt60 plugged, then connected to a 3s lipo. Correct?

Yes the input side of the bec is wired/connected to the 3-cell lipo. The output side of the bec(red&black wires only) is wired/connected to the light bar
