Conection Dangers
The Adage if it can happen it WILL.
One of my Grandsons 10 is a very curious person Loves Science and experiments.
Last week he got hold of the Batteries for his Blackout SC. While his brothers were on Charge in the Garage.
Long story short he took two of the Batteries and Plugged them into them selfs. Bang. He was lucky No Harm.
He was taught to be responsible but 10 is 10.
My son knew better but a moment of distraction let it happen.
So the horse is out of the barn on this one BUT was wondering if the Battery Connector can be made to only plug into the Truck - Car. not into each other.
Yes, live and Learn.

I'd get rid of them red HXT 4mm connectors. Even if you were able to put two female bullets into the battey's HXT housing, IMO, it would be a pain changing everything.
Move on to Dean's T-Plugs, or XT60 plugs...they would be my top recommendations. XT60 plugs because of the ease of soldering wire to the connectors cups. Pretty much any other connector will be better than the design flawed HXT type.

+1 on those HXT connectors being flawed.
This is not the first time I've heard about this happening with those HXT connectors.
Also, I've never seen batteries listed with the HXT connectors as an option, so switching over to Deans/T connectors, XT60's or EC3's would be a good idea.

Don't think this will be a Recurring problem for them more of a heads up to Newbies but will research both suggestions.
This means Changing the Battery Charger and Truck connectors on 6 batteries 2 Chargers 2 Trucks. Like I said don't think it will happen again Thanks for the replies and Suggestions always Learning problem being at 76 I am always forgetting.

With all connectors shown, it's impossible to connect 2 batteries together. The yellow XT60 connectors on the top left show this clearly. There is a male and female half, unlike the HXT connectors which are Bi
