Default AARRGGGG! The PUFF!!!

Have Lipo's changed? It seems like years ago getting a puffed battery was rare, now it seems like every LiPo puff's! After a couple of runs for flights...PUFF! This is true with high dollar LHS ones and with the cheap Chinese ones!!! I stick with high c ratings and I try to be nice and not discharge too much but I must be doing something wrong. Does it seem like the quality has dropped to anyone else?

I have some Admiral 50C 6S 5300 maH Lipos. And Admiral 5S 50C Lipos. No puffing at all. On the other hand I've got a couple Blue 35C 6S 5300 maH Lipos. They have puffed badly but still work.

Seems like the Lipos with a higher "C" rating do not puff at all. Also, I'm very careful not to discharge my batteries below 3.8 volts/cell.

"puffed badly" = The big D&D , Discharge and Dispose , before they set your house / car / wherever you store them , on fire ...

Definitely puffed batteries are history.
