Default lipo Balance lead error on charger

Is it possible to charge a lipo when the balance lead is reading balance error on charger while plugged in? Better still is it safe? Balance board is fine. Charges other batteries just fine. Thanks in advance!

One of the cells is low. Use a meter, find the low cell. Charge the cell, just the one cell with the charger on NIMH setting. You want to raise it just enough to bring it up so the charger will then balance charge the battery. You will need to watch this closely. Once the level comes up. Plug in and balance charge.

If the cell is way out, it may be dead and not worth trying. Mine were with in about .3 to .5 volts out. If the cell read 2v time to cut it out and make a 2s out of the 3s battery.

Buzz.

My old Cell Pro 4 chargers will stop the fast charge & go to a balance mode to get ALL CELLS even. FIRST. Then go back to charging. ........ I get rid of a battery that has 1 or more low cells. They will run down faster & too deeply if you fly by a timer. They are unsafe in my opinion. Field fires ae not easy to put out. With no water.
We tried 2 X before getting rid of that member.
