lithium ion 30amp ?
can I built a pack of lithium ion cells that can safely draw 30-40 amps(9.6 volts minimum), and if so what configuration. any help will be great thanks

Just looked at kokams 1500mAh (S)HD they have cont. current 12-18A so you just need a 3S3P or simular one 3S cost round $100 here in Sweden.
