Default Not really Clear.......

which way to charge. I have just bought some good 1800mah nicads to make up several 4.8v receiver packs. What I don't want to do is make a cock up of the initial charging. The batteries arrived discharged and assembled. How do I go about getting it right. I will be using a SuperNova charger powered by a mains 8amp power supply. Do I set the SuperNova to manual and discharge what is left in the batteries at .18mah then charge at .18mah, or just charge on auto straight away. Once they are charged do I discharge again and repeat the process until the required capacity is reached. Sorry this is long winded, but I have received so many different theories and read so many threads that I am now totally confused. Any help please and many thanks.

regards
Freff

Default RE: Not really Clear.......

Just begin your charge at 0.18 amps and charge for 12 hours.
