Default Lithium Polymer Battery Help

This is the problem with lithiums. You have a choice between 2 in series (2s) or 3 in series (3s) (note: there may be more cells than this with bigger batteries; I have a 2s2p pack of Kokam 1020s, which works out to 7.4 volts and 2040 mAh), which is about 6 cells vs 9 cells.

Basically you'll just have to pick one and fiddle with other things to make it work. A 3s pack will be harder on the motor (you will need a smaller prop to reduce current), but a 2s may not provide enough power, even with a bigger prop.

Default Lithium Polymer Battery Help

Thanks for the reply Squawkin' Tall. I think I'll start out with the 2 cell and see how it works out. Much appreciated.

Bob
