split pack
a friend asked me to cycle a battery pack for him.he stated this had been a transmitter pack which he split into two 4.8 reciever packs
the battery has 1200 mah on label. when split like this should the mah be half of that i.e. a 600mah pack? if so why am i showing 842 mah on the cycler after discharging? thanks for any info you can give

RE: split pack
No, it was made out of 1200 mah batteries. it should peak around 1200ma after a discharge down to 1.0v per cell.
the difference is the voltage. the TX pack would supply 1200ma at 9.6 volts for an hour, the two RX packs made out of the same batteries should supply 1200ma at 4.8 volts for an hour.
