Triton Peak Detection
Is there a way to defeat the peak detection circuitry in the Triton?
I need to slow charge a couple of monster single 7000mAH cells (Glow igniter)
Even at 200mA the peak detection circuit triggers 20 minutes or so into the cycle
I want to set the charger at 700mA constant current and just leave it overnight.
Is there a way to do that?

Or set it up as a pb charge .7 A 6 V and let it go.

RE: Triton Peak Detection
There's a "peak delay at start" that can be set-up quite high too maybe 990 minutes. In addition to what Red said, if you use nimh you can set the max timer and max mah also.

I played with the other settings in the NiMH and NiCd protocols, but that didn't seem to help.
To be fair, I need to go back and experiment more before I give up on the "right" way.
