Default Triton2 and Fromeco 7.4v Li-Ion HELP!!!

I'm having some problems with my new Fromeco 4800mAh 7.4V Li-Ion pack and the Triton2 charger.
The voltage settings in the Triton doesn't have 7.4v only 7.2v, but in Lipo it does.......What can I do??

I will appreciate any help....

Regards

I don't have any of them, but according to the instructions they are 8.4 max (full) and should be charged as a lipo on a setting of 7.4 volts. If you were to use the li-ion seting of 7.2 then it will not hurt, but just be "almost full"

I don't particularly care for the T-2's setting of capacity instead of rate either as it probably forces one to use a 1C charge.

use it as a lipo, but limit the charge rate to no more than 1C, I usually charge at no more than 1amp on the 2400 packs

Yep...just use the LiPo 7.4 setting...........

it will work fine (if you can see the screen! I hate the backlighting!!!)

there were LiIons that were slighltly lower voltage..... ie: 7.2 for the pack v 7.4
but your Fromecos are 7.4

and the charge methodolgy is the same for LiIon and LiPo

Thanks for the info guys....
Panzlflyer, I can't change the charging rate in the triton 2, you put the mAh of the battery and the Triton set the charging rate automatic.

You can do us a favor and set capacity to just half of the battery and see if it stops at the setting (or continues to a certain point)
I've been wondering this and is the only way to use a c/2 rate. If it does stop then simply restart it for the second half
