Battery size suggestions
I am about to maiden a 72" YAK with all analog servos (hitech 645 & 625) futaba3001 on throttle.
I bought a 5-cell 1500 NIMH pack and I am starting to think it is not big enough.
what do you guys think?

RE: Battery size suggestions
The 5 cell to me draws more current so I'll go with it being on the small side .
It'l work but watch it,, aka loaded meter after every flight... test as soon as you land.

RE: Battery size suggestions
Another thing you can do if you are worried about the pack being too small is make sure are your servo linkages are as friction free as possible. This can be the difference between a normal flight and an overloaded battery, and is often overlooked by many people.
