"y" cord with battery packs?
Let's say you have an 1100 mah battery pack in your aircraft and need additional nose weight for balance. Is it possible to add another pack, say 600 mah and use a "y" cord and gain a total of 1700mah. Would this work?

redscho
Is right they have to be charged separately even if they where the same Milli amp rating. I have done the same I don't like to add lead to the nose when I can have more battery.

"y" cord with battery packs?
It works great!! I went to fly my heli for the first time this year only to find that i dropped a cell so i stuck two airplane (700s) on a Y harness and it worked great but like they said you have to charge them seperately. its also kind of extra insurance, if one of your batteries comes unplugged or drops a cell you'll still have the power to continue flying!
