shrink wrap split open from heat
hello everyone
A few weeks ago I had a burnout in a hydro and I used two duratrax 7.2v 4200 packs.
Because they got so hot, the shrink wrapping over them split open.
What should I do? Could I use rubber bands to hold the thing together?

We carry many sizes of shrinkwrap. Perhaps, one of them will fit your needs.

Um, wouldn't the hot glue get soft because the cells would get warm?
Also what about using wire tape? I've heard about people using that before.

If your packs are getting hot enough to melt the shrink wrap, you are getting them too hot and thus killing them..
May want to check what your draw from the pack is..
