Default How to wire a Charging lead onto a single Cell

Hi Guys
I bought a onboard glow system for my plane and i wish to solder a charging lead onto the battery so i can recharge it without having to disturb the battery thats mounted in the plane I plan to just use a Futaba ext lead cut in half to get the charging lead Will it be alright to do this and also what colour wire do i put to positive and what one to negative Any help would be appreciated

Styk,

Here in the U.S. (disclaimer), it is the red wire to the positive and the black to the negative. You will not use the third colored wire (if it has one).
