Battery question
I have a 7 cell pack labelled KR600AE and was wonderring if it would be appropriate for 12-16 amp discharge rate and 3C charge rate? I have read in several places that the "AE" cells have too high resistance for high currant drains but am not sure of the actual amounts. It is for maximum runs of 30-45 seconds on a slightly overpropped speed 400.
I figure somebodys previous experience would be helpful or I will be stuck doing a static test moniterring battery temp.
Thanks Emmery

I have ran them with a Brushless and a 7X4 prop
I ran the 600AEs on a brushless Zagi. Static amp draw was around 14 amps, they handled it just fine. Since we have went to the KAN 950s, my old NICD packs are not getting much use anymore but from what I remember, the 600AE put out some pretty good punch...
Hope this helps,

Battery question
Austin -
I use an 8cell KR600AE pack to fly a twin 280 at approximately 10 to 12 amps.
I use a 15 minute timer charger at 2.5 amps; the battery never gets warm.
