Default CHARGING 6.0V 1200mA NIMH

I HAVE A 5 CELL 6.0V 1200mA NIMH RECIEVER BATTERY AND I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO CHARGE IT. CAN I USE THE NORMAL WALL CHARGER THAT CHARGES 4.8V BATTERIES. WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS.

Your best bet is to invest in a charger that can charge Nimh batteries. I use the Dymond Super Turbo and it works great and all my battery charging needs... even for misc stuff around the house.

But you can use the wall wart charger, also. If it says that it charges 4.8 packs at 50 mA (pretty standard for these chargers), then it will usually charge about 40 mA at 6.0 volts. So your total charge time is 1200 / 40 * 1.4 = 42 hours
