Default Hanger 9 Sure Cycler Question

I have a question about this cycler. I bought it used and it does not have instrutions with it. It works great and I have figured it all out except one thing. After discharging the battery it switches to charge mode. My question is does it stay in full charge mode until you unhook the battery? Or at some point and time does it go into a maintenance mode? I have let it go for up to 22 hours and see no change in the charge light, it stays consant light all the time. I have not checked the amps coming out of the charger at this point yet. Thought I would ask here first.

Thanks Dave.

Default Hanger 9 Sure Cycler Question

Dave;
The Charge rate is 100 mA for the Transmitter
50 and 150 mA on the receiver.

It handles up to a 1100 mA battery

It works on Nicad and Nimh

Note: After the battery packs haveen fully discharged (4-cell reaches 4.2V, 5-cell reaches 5.2V, and 8-cell reaches 8.4V), the cycler will switch from discharge to charge.

Default Hanger 9 Sure Cycler Question

Thanks for the information Jack. After the charger switches from discharge to charge how long does it charge, does it ever switch over to a trickle charge?

Thanks Again Dave.

Default Hanger 9 Sure Cycler Question

John,
The sure cycle charger is just a trickle charger it tricles at 50 or
150 mah. It is not a peak detection charger. If you have any other
questions call us at 1-877-504-0233.
Thank you,
Horizon Product Support

Here you go Dave

S. Miller thanks for the personal but! the Sure charger is automatically in trickle from the charge position.

Default Hanger 9 Sure Cycler Question

John,

Talked with my friend Mike McConville at Hanger 9 and the answer to the question is what we throught. Once the charger switches from discharge to charge it will continue to charge at the same rate until you unplug it.
