Which Charger?
Need a little advice. I am not trying to start a big debate, just want some feedback. I want to buy another charger and I narrowed it down to two. I like both of these chargers because they will do everything I want and they are pretty inexpensive. I am looking at the Triton Jr and the Multiplex LN-5014. I will be using at home and at the field. I have a bunch of specialty charger(only charge 1 or 2 types of batteries) and I want to have 1 charger that will charge all my batteries. Is either charger better or are they pretty much the same animal?
Thanks,
Tony

RE: Which Charger?
I have both chargers. They are both almost the same except the Triton Jr has a time limit on charge thats cuts off at I think its 2 hrs. Other than that they have the same features and are fine chargers. You can't go wrong either way. mxerman

RE: Which Charger?
I have 2 questions about the Multiplex LN-5014 charger.
(1) Can I use it to charge my on-board glow battery? The battery is a Nicad 1N-1900SCR, it is a 1.2V/1900mAh battery.
(2) Can I use it to charge my flight box Lead Calcium 12V 7Ah gelcell battery?
Thank you,
Tony Gagliardi Jr.

RE: Which Charger?
TGJ, the answer is yes to all your questions.........Except the charge rate is adjustable from 0.1 amp to 5.0 amps so, you can fast or slow charge. Don't forget that the Triton Jr will cut off at 2 hrs (don't have my manual here). My firmware does not have an over ride but I have heard that some later versions have software that you can over ride the auto cutoff for NiMh/NiCd batterys. The MultiPlex will charge till its finished.. No matter how long. mxerman
