Charging Batteries In Advance
Iusually charge my LiPo's a day or two in advance. If the batteries are in good shape Iwonder how long in advance you could charge them and still have full power? Week or two.........???

RE: Charging Batteries In Advance
With a Li-po, that is in good shape, you could charge the battery several months in advance and still have a nearly charged battery. However leaving a li-po battery fully charged for long lengths of time will harm the battery.
Personally I won't leave a li-po fully charged for more than a week tops. The full charge causes the cells to deteriorate at a quicker rate.
When I discharge a li-po for storage I run them down to about 3.8 volts PER cell. So 11.4 volts for a 3-cell li-po.
Hope this helps, Josh
