RE: accucel 6 charger question
I'm pretty new to this myself but I have no idea what "Maintenance Charge" is. Do you mean "Storage Charge" ?

In regards to the Accucel 6, I always have a problem trying to find the 'maintenance charge' screen. Does anyone else have problems like that?? I just can't seem to 'get there from here'.

Hi TomBates,
Yup... sorry I used the wrong verbiage. I've seen it written as Maintenance Charge in other places but you're more correct than I am. I just can't seem to get to that function.

It does both as long as you have both leads hooked up.

hmm, I was under the impression is only charges in charge mode even if both leads are attached and balance/charges when set to balance mode.

RE: accucel 6 charger question
anyone have a pic of the correct hook up of battery and charger( the one in the instruction manual is cut off on one side)? I just got mine and I'm new to E flight and don't want to fry a new pack. I ordered Rhino's with it and I don't think it came with the correct lead for them.
thanks for any help, especially a pic

RE: accucel 6 charger question
TPH1,
Do you have an Accucel 6 and trying to hook up a LIPO battery? If so, you have to connect the charge pigtail, from the batt., to the banana jacks on the side of the charger. The charge pigtail is the one with the larger wires. You may have to make or buy an adapter to go from the banana jacks to what ever type of plug you have on your batts. charge pigtail. The other pigtail, from the batt., with the small wires, should have a small white plug which is for plugging into the balancing ports next to the banana jacks. Depending on the number of cells your batt. has will determine which charge port to plug into. Here is a photo of what it looks like.

RE: accucel 6 charger question
yes it is a 6 and yes on the LiPo's, is the jack on the left side that looks like a round plug go to the 12v battery? Also, I get it on the balancing jack but do I need to buy 2 bullets and make a commector for the 10ga wires also?

RE: accucel 6 charger question
I just edited my first responce with a photo. Yes the round jack on the left side of your charger is for your 12 volt input. Yes you need to have a adapter pigtail with banana jaks on one side and your batt type plug on the other end. Do you have a manual??

RE: accucel 6 charger question
I have to agree, I don't see it now either. Someone pointed it out the other day and it was on their home page but I don't see it now. Looks like we both missed out on it.

RE: accucel 6 charger question
I just ordered an Acucel 6 and 2 Zippy 4S 1P -30 2650 LiPo batteries. Charger cost 24.99 and bat approx $35.00 each. Sounded pretty good price.
I am new to E-fliight and just received my Sequence F3A combo, Rimfire 32 motor and ECS. I'll be using Futaba FAAST rradio system.
