Default Trion 2 "Open circuit" Error.

Hello All.

I have had a Triton 2 for almost a year now, and suddenly w/ no reason (at least for me) it started coming up with the message ERROR OPEN CIRCUIT.

I plug it to my car Battery.
Adjust it to charge whatever batt type.
Push the button.
The "CHACKING BATTERY" message come up.
them it says Error Open Circuit.

First I thought it was the charging lead, but I tried it on another cheap charger and it worked perfect.
\Anyone has some clue of what could it be? and how to fix it?

Thanks
Mauricio

If there is an open lead to the battery you are charging it will say open circut
Like if you are charging a battery and you unplug one of the leads to the battery it will say open circut'

Larry,

I know that! Actually, I checked everything for open circuit.
I tested: my leads on my triton = fail
other lead on my triton = fail
my leads on other charger = success
other leads on other charger = success...

I think my triton went thru some defect...
The weird is: it performs anything from menu, but it is no charging!
