my son is running a xxxt [stock] on a 1800 venom battery. i'd like him to get 15 min runs before it starts to dump. what's the min. mah do i need? i'd like to keep it to ni-mh too.will a 3300 venom get me close to that,they are pretty cheap on e-bay,about 20 bucks. also,what about those cheap no-namers on e-bay,are they serious junk or will they work for a 6 year old?

probably around 3000- 4200. i would shy away from venom. look at promatch racing. ive heard they got some good batteries. i have yet to use one but i will be ordering one sometime.

I run a 5000 mAh nimh battery in my Rustler VXL. i usually get around 30 mins of runtime. I will be upgrading to LiPo in the near future . Who doesn't want more power?
