Post Mortem 12X Battery
Supposed to be a 2000 mAh NiMH.
After 1 year wouldn't hold more than 250 mAh and sometimes wouldn't even turn the radio on!
I bought a new 2000 mAh Eneloop pack from SinCityJets. Figure I could solder the leads to the little e-board in the casette, but the original equipment battery has some kind of transistor in the loop between cells as well.
How do I handle that?
Thanks!

Those are probably discharge protection circuts to prevent total discarge in case you leave your radio on for hours. You don't need it; just remember to turn off the radio.
