Default lipo in edf

I'm flying a edf f-16 with a 70mm fan and 3500kv motor. Will I get longer flights with a 14v 3000ma 20c battery or a 14v 3000ma 35c battery?
Also will the power be much of a difference?

Both batteries are 3000 mAh and will give equal flight times, if your motor draws less than 60 A (20 C).

The C rating is the max discharge RATE, or the internal resistance of the cells.

The Mah rating is the capacity so if they are the same then your average flight times are going to be the same. The higher C battery will run a little cooler.

If I could get the battery into some kind of airflow to cool it, will I get better performance?

EDFs have the highest discharge rate in RC planes.
A 35C will give you more efficiency vs 20C.
but consider that a 35C will have more voltage under load and lead to more current draw and power consumption.
so the certain answer is:
the overall performance will improve but not necessarily the run time.
