Need help charging AA/AAA batteries from this charger..

Hello there..

I need help with some advice on what sort of connector/adapter to use with the following charger in order to charge regular AA / AAA batteries..

Hitec X2 AC Pro 2-Port AC/DC Multi-Charger TowerHobbies.com

Would appreciate any help.

THanks.

By regular do you mean alkaline? If so don't do it. They are not meant to be recharged.

Sorry... By regular I meant by size. Rechargeable standard AA/AAA batteries.

What kind of connector is on the battery pack? Dan.

Charge the batteries at 1/10 their rated value. Each battery has a voltage of 1.2 volts. The eight cell pack is 9.6 volts total. You will need a connector that matches the one on the battery holder. It looks like that's a nine volt battery one. You will have to solder the red and black wires from the nine volt connector to the one that came with the charger. Dan.

One more thing. If the charger came with a cable that has clip leads on it you can use that. Make sure that you keep the red lead to the positive terminal and the black one to the negative one. Dan.

That charger comes with a 46 page instruction manual, 4 of which are dedicated to NiCd/NiMH. That sounds like a lot of help. Perhaps if you had specific questions AFTER you read the manual we could help more.

Hi particular question is how to connect the battery cell holder to the charger, and the answer is you will need to create an adapter for this function. The X2 AC Plus includes 2 blank charge leads that you can solder any connector onto- you can acquire a 9V adapter from Amazon to solder to the end of the blank adapter which will let you connect to and charge that pack.
