Duralite Battery Charging - Help

Hi, When charging a Duralite A123 EXB Lithium Phosphate battery (6.6 v Powerbox version) what battery type should the charger be set to (my charger does not have a Lithium Phosphate setting) ?

I also have a Duralite EXB Magnum Ion battery (7.4 v for the ECU).

I could not find any guidance in the paperwork that came with these batteries, on the stickers on the batteries, or on their website.

Should the LiFe setting be used for both battery types ?

Thanks. Bob

LIfe or A123

Thanks Andy. My TP-610 charger has a LiFe option/setting but not an A123 one. I should use LiFe for both of those battery types noted above right ?

Correct they are essentially the same thing.

A123 is a brand specific name that uses proprietary nano technology but otherwise you're saying the same thing and they use the same charge profile

Thanks, this was useful info!

The folks at Duralite advised me that the EXB Magnum Ion battery (7.4 v for the ECU) should be charged on the LiPo setting.
(The LiFe setting may also work .... but they recommended the LiPo setting).
