Newbie RX problem

Newbie RX problem
Okay, So I am still new to the RC hobby. I have several of the Parkzone flyers and have flown them all a few times. Yesterday I went to the field to fly, and did the normal routine. TX power on, plug lipo in. I got the 1 initial beep and then the 3 beeps after that. However, nothing happened after that. I get no light on the receiver and no final confirmation beeps. So tonight I thought I'd try re-binding it.... no go.
That happened on the T-28, tonight I tried the P-47 and the same thing happend!!! I DID try the same battery..... I have no idea where the problem lies??? The ESC is still okay I presume because it is making a tone. But the RX on both airplanes is now not showing any sign of being alive!!!
What the heck is going on!?!?!?!?!
Any help would be great.... We only have a few more days of nice weather and it is killing me that i have to stay indoors with these things!

So a low battery could maybe not allow the RX to activate? I've got the battery on the charger now.... So I will be trying that.

Check that your throttle on the TX is closing fully. Some ESCs will not arm if you have some trim on the throttle.

What kind of transmitter are you using? Is it possible the throttle on the Tx was reversed from normal operation so that you think it is down all the way but might actually be wide open?

I am using the DX5e.... I thought you had a great suggestion because i know I had to mess with the reversing from switching between the two planes... I actually thought for sure that would be the problem....
Nope.... I tried that on both planes.... and no go...
When I plug the P-47 in, the RX blinks for just a split second and the surfaces move to fail-safe and the flaps come down, but thats it....

I had a entry level radio aircraft combo { If I remember right ; I'm thinking it was an E flight apprentice dx5 } the magic trick to it was after it was on and did the 3 beep thing the throttle had to be advanced to full throttle and returned back to the idle and it would beep again indicating the moter ,escwas now armed . Like a extra failsafe kinda thing .

I have tried all the things suggested, and no dice... Now my brother's PZ P-51 is doing the exact same thing with his DX4.... No light on the RX when we plug in the battery... The ESC makes it's initial beep & then the 3 beeps for the lipo count, nothing else... Same thing that is happening to my T-28 & P-47.. I am getting curious as to why the exact same problem is happening to all these airplanes...
Here is something I tried though, I took my PZ Wildcat, and took the ESC power end out of the RX in the Wildcat, and plugged it into the THR slot in the RX on the T-28... hooked up the battery, and viola, I had blinking in the RX in the T-28... So I know it is not a RX problem... Now, why are all these ESC's not working ?
Could just the BEC's have gone bad in the three airplanes? It seems like the ESC's have power from the battery, but no juice out to the RX.

You can answer that question quickly with a cheap little multimeter. It will tell you if there's any voltage at the connector from the BEC. That said, your problem sounds more like a transmitter issue. Two different planes stopped working at the same time. I assume they have different ESC's and receivers? The common link in the situation is the transmitter, so I'd look there first.

Actually, they both have the same receiver & ESC in both airplanes.....
Also, If i remove the BEC red wire on the receiver lead from the ESC, would that work? Or does the Receiver need that wire to get any juice from the battery? I thought the BEC just cut out the engine and saved battery power for the servos.....

No, the BEC lowers the voltage to supply your receiver and servos. The receiver needs all three wires since that is also your throttle connection.
So you're using the same receiver and ESC in both planes then? And you're getting no receiver response at all? If that's the case it does sound like the BEC on your ESC is defective or has a bad connection.
