Hobby Zone Supercub power issues
I have a hobby zone supercub that has been un used for bout 2 years now and with the recent crash of my nitro plane i want to fix up some of my old electrics to get them running again. the problem im having is that my supercub will only go to half power then as soon as i push the throtle it dies like a kill switch. idk what is wrong. the batteries in the radio are new but im still using original plane batteries. idk if its something in the receiver or maybe the batteries or maybe even the controler. any help?

Yep! If you run a pack down at no more than 50% power will it 1/ cope with that. 2/charge up normally?
If it has done a lot of hours the motors brushes could also be shot

What kind of batteries are you using, the old Nicads or Lipo? Either way, you need to check the voltage and see if the the pack is fully charged.
Are you using the old stock 27mhz radio system, or is it one of the newer stock 2.4mhz, or has it been changed to something other than stock ?
Is the ACT turned off?
