Yeah, it would just be a short CROSS COUNTRY fly over
We finally got some snow here as well, it figures I was hoping to sneak in a test flight while the weather held....

RE: Cookies for the swap meet
Ha Ha Ha We get to the swap meet and I left about 60+ cookies home. I thought I had them all when I packed the truck this morning about 5:30 am. Maybe I could send each one of you a couple of cookies. We had a nasty storm come and and dump about 8 inches so it ready put a damper on the meet. We only had a couple hundred people come through the line. One thing, those that braved the weather were buyers.

Did it seem like people were bringing more to sell than normal? There has to be a bunch of people needing extra money.. just wondered if more kits and goodies were showing up...

RE: Cookies for the swap meet
I seen lots of good priced items. One vendor had 4 booths and lots of kits. It was a hobby shop selling for a deceased club member. Can't figure out why one person would have so many kits. I sold 4 planes. harrier 3D, P51 sill in the box, Jupiter and a giant scale super sportster. I also put on a foam cutting demonstration that resulted in a nice sale. So all in all it was a good swap meet for me. The weather was terrible, but I guess the people that braved the weather came to buy.

Glad to hear your meet was a good one. Wish I was there. I have a kit but I would like to have a few more on hand.

Most sellers will not take checks. Figure out how much money you are willing to spend then that is what you take. Most sellers will deal from the price you see on the merchandise. Don't buy something that you don't need even if it looks like a good price. that is when you find that item you really wanted and your money is gone. Lots of good deals if you know what you are looking for and at. Good luck.
