DX7s beginners question
Hi
This is my first time writing on any forum, so here goes.
I just baught a Spektrum DX7s as my first radio. This question is probably very stupid, but my right stick is very springy like I imagined it is supposed to be, while my left stick is completely loose.
Is this supposed to be like this?
thanks for the help.
Ps: hope I posted this in the correct forum.

RE: DX7s beginners question
YEs it is the right centers itself since this is your elevator and ailerons while the left is your throttle and rudder. The left should stay in position up and down and center itself left and right.
I know this may sound wierd but is this your first controller? Did I maybe misread your question? Please let me know if I didn't answer your question.

RE: DX7s beginners question
Thr left stick should center itself right and left but should stay where you put it forward and back (that is the throttle and you want it to stay where you put it)
That said, if the transmitter is designed for airplanes, the throttle should ratchet. If it is smooth, either the ratchet is broken or you may have a helicopter version.
And if it doesn't spring to center right and left, something is wrong

RE: DX7s beginners question
hi
thanks for all the info.
yes, it does center itself from left to right.
this is my first aircraft radio. before i only had car radios and they always centered themselves (pistol grip radios).
MinnFlyer my throttle is smooth even when in airplane mode. is there any way to find out if it is a heli version?
thanks
