RE: Just got my first plane and need some help
I have a. box full of those connectors I have never used them because of the same reason, they loosen off or bind. get some of the dubro connectors that have a snap cap instead of the nut they work GREAT!!

I use those type of connectors on a lot of my planes. You cant rely on them if you dont use loctite though.
You need to drill the servo horn large enough for the thread to go through and not bind up. Put a small washer on top and bottom of the horn...then use blue loctite on the nut.

Thanks for all the help guys looks like the hawk sky will not fly again. crashed it and totaled the fuselage. come to find out nobody seems to have them in stock or even a eta on when they should. pretty much being told to order the pnp model if i want to fly again. So anybody know a foam glider kit that flys like the hawk sky that i can pick up for a good price.
