Saito FA 56 no needle valve ?
I got her running, but is this carb supposed to have a needle valve ?
She`s running but dumping fuel out the side of the carb where I would think there would be a needle.
I assume there is supposed to to be one with my problem?
Sorry for all the 4 stroke questions.......but just got a hand full of them and bench testing each one.
Thank You.

You got it to run without needle valves? Ok. Just curious - how do you meter the fuel flow?

RE: Saito FA 56 no needle valve ?
I had a Magnum 52 in a LT 40 that lost it's needle valve while flying. I noticed it started running rough so I brought it in for adjustment, and there was no needle valve. I have no idea how it kept running but I learned something when I got my replacement.
There is a little O ring! I thought the adjustment felt a little too easy!
One of those mistakes of saying, "Ah, it's good enough." [X(]

I can see how it could run, not well but if everything was just right... With the needle valve all the way out you would have a wide open fuel flow, but with the open hole where the needle should be you would be sucking air too. Suck enough air and still deliver fuel and bang, combustion...
