It is technically possible I guess but the video is most likely a viral to attract attention to something. Most likely the plane is attached to a very thin length of nylon.

if it isn't then it has been set up perfectly to turn at the right angle and at the same time having just enough lift to maintain height. It must of took the guy days to get it flying right if its real.

Probably on a string with a fan blowing it around

Yeah, that's not real. A stove couldn't make a thermal that strong, and the circles are just too perfect.

I'm pretty sure it's faked. If you watch the airplane itself you will notice that it's making turns in EXACTLY the same place every time around. If this was powered by thermal updrafts you'd be seeing differences in the flight path each time.

the airplane is on a string, attached to a motor out of the camera's sight...

I'm not very good at folding paper so I did it my way. I also have gas burners so I didn't light them up with the paper floating over the range. Living in Vegas and having all the street performers and magic shops learning how to make things float isn't too hard. At one point I dazzled my grand kids. www.houdini.com You should see what I can do with a card!!!
