Default Servo's

I'm looking for some reliable inexpensive normal size servo's for a few 60 size planes.
Anyone have any favorites they can recommend ?
Thanks
Bob

I use a lot of the Futaba 3004. Good luck, Dave

Sure Bob I think my favorites for that use Hitec HS 425's. While not bombproof they sure have seemed pretty close to for me, some time now.

I believe in looking to the future I have used HiTec 5645 with great success. Yes yes it is more servo than you need right now but if you ever go bigger you'll have a bigger servo already on hand. Plus you can't go wrong going bigger and faster on servos.
But if all you want are standard servos I wouldn't hesitate to use Futaba HiTec or JR

Ditto the Futaba 3004s...you asked for reliable and inexpensive, and that's what they are, plus fully adequate to the task.

+ 3 on the futaba 3004. Have some that have a lot of hours on them. Very good service.

I've had good luck with the Tower TS53s. I think they are made by Futaba. They might be relabeled 3003s.

I think it also depends on the type of plane, not just the size. For a .60 size trainer, an inexpensive Futaba S3004 sport servo or something similar would probably be just fine.
