The "kit" version sold today is the same as the "kit" version sold 10 years ago. It could be built with or without the flaps at the builder's option. Ditto for any added lights. Mine has no flaps but I did add lights. The "ARF" version has only been around for about 5 years or so and has, to the best of my knowledge, always had flaps and lights, and only one version that I know of. Those are the only two 1/5 th scale Top Flite Cessna 182's ever offered. So, why don't you just download the kit manual and use it for reference ? What exactly do you need to know?

I have the manual and I think I still have the full set of plans. Will look. My T/F Cessna went down due to a lost signal. I think I still have a windshield and the two piece cowl.

You can purchase the manual from Top Flite for the cost of $10.39 and whatever they are going to charge for shipping. You can follow the links provided by Bax above to find this page in order to find the pages were you can purchase the correct manual you need directed from Hobbico/Top Flight. Another option would be to download the PDF format of the manual and simply print it out yourself at home on a printer.

Cessna 182 manual
Here is the manual I have. The plans have been scanned to 8X11 sheets of paper and are to 1/5 scale. This is what is left of the interior kit. will have to look around for the other stuff I have
