This is a handy charge rate calculator that I've used when I wasn't sure. You have to find what the charge "c" rating is. Usually 1C is a safe charge rate. But you should check on the battery itself or on the battery manufacturers website.

2.2 amps is a 1c charge rate. You can't go wrong with that.

I'd charge at 2 amps. Jester is correct when he says 2.2 but me I'd just do the 2

Also remember to treat those lipos like lit roman candles. Put them in something fire proof when charging. An ammunition box is good or one of these nomex bags.

Modelers have lost their houses when these things go pop during charging.

I wonder if burning down your house while charging batteries is covered by AMA insurance.

Maybe not quite that bad but certainly it pays to respect the possibility that if you screw up or a pack is damaged the potential for a serious fire exists. I use either a piece of slate roofing or a crock pot . . . just in case.

Might not be that bad? Tell it to this guy who lost his house to a lipo fire. He and his family all got out but it was a close thing.

There are numerous well documented instances of lipo fires resulting in major loss or damage.

As I said treat a charging or recently charged lipo as if it was a lit roman candle.
