KNIGHT, i removed mine once i got comfortable with the plane i was to nervous too for a long time but once i did i wished i had done it sooner especially when flying in the wind it didn't dart all over the place and i had better control it was like a new plane. it would cut threw the air better tighter turns nice and clean and better control . give it a try it's worth it

Took off droops yeterday the 27th but never used air brakes trim was alright didn't have to move anything. It sure flys better now, also tweaked engine seemed to have too much right thrust so lossened screws as advised by senior members and take offs was a lot better didn't pull to the right like usual.

If you are using the air brakes and want to remove them...BE CAREFULL. Those things produce a lot of lift. I had to down trim my plane to prevent it from climbing all the time at full throttle. When I took off the air brakes. I flew and when I release the stickes on the RC controle the the pane dove right away into the groud. Lucky only prop broke. So be carefull and level out your elevator before the flight after you take them off.
