I take a few of the throw away paper hand towels and spray them with a lil cleaner and put them in a zip lock back that why I have an easy way to clean my plane after a day at the field.
And I don't have to worry about spilling it in my field box either

I read a forum somewhere where some guy just puts a trash bag in the tail of his airplanes before covering. When he crashes, its already there at the crash site. This guy must be a positive thinker. So no reason to carry one in the flitebox.

I know what I would wish for in my fieldbox.

Whatever I need right now that I left at home. This situation usually makes me wander up and down the flightline aimlessly asking people for things. Kind of makes me feel like a begger.

It's OK though. They all do it to.

One I haven't seen here is a checklist to get you in the air. Cuts down on the prteparation mistakes you will eventually make.

I mounted a slim digital clock with a large display to my field box, got tired of my flying buddy trying to read my watch while I'm flying. Also I put a small AM/FM radio in it, just in case I want to check news and weather. I seem to always find out what I need in my field box while I'm out at the field. Now my GP Master Caddy is so heavy, that I have to make a cart to wheel it out to the field.

guy at the field just uses a sharpie marker and write all his notes on the plane.

he has planes that are COVERED in notes.. of course some of these planes have over 500 flights on them with at least a check mark for every flight

granted it might now be good for your pride show scale plane but for a fun fly its perfect.
