Robart hinges are not CA hinges. RCU has a "How To" for installing Robart hinge points here --> http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/a...article_id=269 and the associated RCU discussion thread (which talks about different types of glue you can use) is here --> http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_13...tm.htm#1378983

Robart also has instructions on their web site: http://www.robart.com/how_to/hinge_points.aspx

Enjoy. I like them. This is one place where a lot of people do use Gorilla glue or similar.

Chad- you are not an idiot. You ARE new at this with limited experience. Just be sure of what posts you answer and all will be fine.

A tip for you on the Robart hinge points or Klett (nylon ) hinges.

Take a toothpick and put a SMALL amount of vasoline on the hinge joint prior to installing them. Any adhesive that may seep out of the hole will not adhere to the hinge joint.

Thank you! to everyone that replyed, I went to the links that rubberduck posted, it work just fine, as to how the links explained, but the only difference I made was, is that I used vasoline in the joints instead of 3 and 1 oil. Thanx again everyone

Didn't have any vaseline around last time I installed some so I used hand lotion. Worked fine,
