Receiver question
I've ask this question at a couple of forums in electric planes with no response as of yet. being impatient, I thought I'd ask here also. please forgive the mis-placed question.
I am putting together a Sig Kadet EP-42, I have chosen a HiTec Electron 6 FM DC RX. The plane uses independent aileron servo's and I'd like to setup and use flapperons. The receiver has 5 channel slots and a battery/charger slot.
In programing the Futaba 7C Transmitter to handle flapperons, the instructions calls for the second servo to be plugged into channel 6 on the Futaba receiver.
The HiTec Electron only having 5, can flapperons be used? If so, how would they be set-up, both on the RX and Transmitter?
thanks

RE: Receiver question
Yes, go to the advanced menu in your radio and then to flaperons, then it will say 2nd aileron channel, and put 5. If it is not under flaperon menu it will be under flap trim menu.

RE: Receiver question
The Hitec Electron 6 is a 6 channel receiver. The battery plug is also the channel 6 plug. You use a y connector to plug in the battery and servo 6. Then you can follow the normal programming on your transmitter.
