Default help my parkzone p51 only nose dives

I just purchased my 2nd plane(the p51 by park zone). Ive lost 4 props 1 spinner and a nose. I havent got this thing to gain altitude yet. It goes about 20ft and decides to plant itself in the ground. It had full power and i checked the servos prior to launch. I seems nose heavy. should i remount the battery pack closer to the center. Please help

I have seen this before and it is a case of center of gravity. You should mount the battery pack farther back until you can balance the plane about center plane length wise

Rhet,
Check the cg with everything ready to fly. The plane should balance at about 1/4 to 1/5 of the wing chord back from the LE of the wing (I think that's about 1.5", but make sure as I don't have my plane here now). Also, make sure all the control surfaces are level with the transmitter on. Look and make sure the horizontal is installed correctly and nothing is broken or bent.

I hand launched with a little bit of a running steps and then threw it like a long dart level with full throttle. It never even dipped and flew into a climb. It takes a firm, but not hard toss to get it airborne.

Hope that helps.

are you giving it up elevator on takeoff. If you are, STOP. lounch it without any up elevator, and tell us how it goes. I think that it is stalling.

You shouldn't have to hand launch that plane!!T CG is way off it sounds like.Back up those batteries, until you can balance it to specs in the manuel. Good Luck?? (*^%$$)

Also, make sure the prop is not on backwards. Letters, numbers usually towards the front.
