But of course... Howard Sullivan's RC Flight Unlimited site has that and a whole lot more that you'll find useful.

Or you could just go to Wallmart and buy a plastic tool box for arond $10.00. There are some good sized sturdy boxes for that price. They are fuel proof and don't need paint. Make a cut out in the front for the power panel. Drill out 4 holes in the upper inside tray for the feet of the starter to fit into. Mount a 12 Volt 7 AH battery and an electric fuel pump inside. I also installed a 45 oz. fuel tank inside so that I don't need to open the fuel jug very often. I wired the fuel pump into the back of the control panel so that I could control the on/off and direction from the front of the box. Mine is going on 6 years now with no problems. I have also seen a few tool boxes that are solid flat on top and act as a stool. They are a bit taller and seem to work well too. Depends what you want.

RE: Field box plans
As a followup to Fastsky's post, here's the thread that I got my ideas from for my field box...

YES!
The plastic tool box is definatly the way to go.
I am using one myself that I got at Sears for $11.00. Like stated above I also put the power panel on the outside, Battery, fuel pump and 40oz fuel tank inside.
I personally dont see the purpose in carrying and ENTIRE full gallon of fuel with you to the pitts every time yoiu fly. I get about 4 flights out of the 40oz tank and if I want more I usually have the gallon of fuel in the car if I need to refil the 40 oz tank.
Cheers,
Ryan

I built the Great Planes Master Caddy when it was available as a kit. It turned into a project equal to any plane kit as far as time and labor was concerned. I like it but would recommend any prebuilt alternative. I spent too much time on it. As all field boxes, you will fill it up and it will get heavy. I had to build a wagon to make it easier to get from the car to the flight line.
