Default Anyone have any experience with a Super Custom FS52?

Good day all.

I am about to complete my first kit, a Sig Kadet LT-40. And looking at a SCFS52 powerplant. Do any of you have any experience or tips on wether this is a good engine?

Default RE: Anyone have any experience with a Super Custom FS52?

From what I remembet this is the same engine as the Magnum/ASP line all made in China in the same factory. I have a number of Magnums and they run well for the most part. I have a 52 FS that is on a plane similar to the LT 40 and it is a nice match. I have flown a number of LT 40's and I think you would like the combo.
Blazing power will not happen with this set-up but good steady power will be available and these engines are quite thrifty when it comes to fuel. They take a fair ammount of running to start to produce power so do not be dissappointed. I bought a Mag. 52 FS on RCU from a person who complained that it didn't have enough power to him......it probably only had several tanks thru it ...turned out to be a great engine after broken in.
