nexstar22,
Congrats on the solo flight. It's a great feeling. Heck, I bet you still have that silly smile on your face. Don't worry about it, I had the same smile on my face for about 3 months!!
A solo flight is a great accomplishment and that wins you one genuine RCU ATTABOY (Suitable for framing, wrapping fish, or lining trashcans).

I don't know about you guys but my first flight of the day feels like a solo. Shakey knees and all!! Only been flying glow for about a year and still get excited just flying the pattern and really get worked up when I perform a new move.
Thanks,

Congratulations! A solo is a very exciting event. You get to show people all the things you have learned. Proving you can do Figure 8 basic flight, Box pattern, touch and go's, take-offs and landings, dead sticks, all from multiple directions of the field. Now you are a trusted member of the RC pilot community. You did all this in 1 week! WTG!!!

RE: FIRST SOLO FLIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i also did my first solo today, it was on an avistar, it was on my fifth tank of gas, i learned the racetrack and figure 8 the first flight, take offs the 2nd flight, loops and aileron rolls the third, learned to land the 4th , and soloed the 5th, it is a very good feeling to be able to go out when ever i want and go fly my avistar (i live in the country and have a huge field) so im pretty happy. good luck nexstar

Nexstar22,
Congradulations on your SOLO! However, don't get bummed out over your first CRASH. It will happen sooner or later. My first solo was all by myself after learning on the Crach & Burn method, (crash plane, burn what can't be repaired)! Today we have Buddy Boxes and Flight Simulators. They are great. Good luck in al your future flights.
