I'm not new to the sport but am new to this area.
I move to TEDA (China) 4 weeks ago and am looking for some flying buddies, Is there anybody out there that is flying planes or Helis in the TEDA, Tianjin, Tanggu areas in China?

If so - where are you - I'm going crazy here without knowing where (and therefore not being able) to fly. G3 just doesn't quite cut it and you can only fly the Blade CP around so much inside the apartment. Otherwise - I guess it's off to Beijing each weekend.

I just checked their profiles and none of them has ever made a post but their memberships are fairly recent and they have logged on within the past year. What i'd recommend is for you to PM them and also send them email. Access to both should be available on their profile page. Let me know if you don't know how to locate that.

BTW - at least one showed interest in helicopters too.

just go to "member list" near the top of this page and once there narrow the search by area of interest (airplanes, helicopters, ect..) and also narrow by location ie... China. you will get a long list of members.

Yep, and besides Aussiesteve, those are the only four that live in any of the cities he mentioned.
Of course he may recognize another nearby city/province.

One of the many things I love about this site - I just learned something new (about searching for members) and have potentially got some contacts to help me stay sane (I know I'm sane - the doctor gave me a certificate to say so so that the men in white coats would let me go)

Hi Aussiesteve, just wondering if you managed to find any clubs in TEDA? A possible move is in the offing for me from Taipei to TEDA, knowing there was a good modelling scene and flying club would make the decision much easier!

Good Pattern Scene here, Great Helicopter Scene and I'm even instructing a few here. (Even I find that hard to believe).
