    Ft myers FL

    Hi I'm located in FT Myers Fl, I'm interested in flying and I was wondering if there are any clubs close by. If so are there instructors willing to help a new person get started also what are the date/ time they meet.

    I think thnk the only clubs available in Florida are restricted to those who fork out 10-15k for Jet Turbines.

    There are three clubs that I know of.
    North Side of Cape Coral.
    Good club, may be an issue for really big planes.

    Club behind the school Between Captiva and Naples on Roost Road.
    Nice club, good people.

    Club in Homestead, Fl.
    Never visited so can't speak on it.

    I'm newon this forumas well as a newbie and after using the 'search tool'I came up with
    another local club, over in the northern part of Lehigh area.Apparently this is the new location
    for the one which used to be located neartheBuckingham Air Field.

    Also depending on whether you live in South/North or central Fort Misery, there was a club down in Bonita Springs also.
    Missing Man Formation, Looking heavenward you can't help but shed a tear, mournful, lonesome, a hole that screams out at you.
