Still if you want pure power and a car with attitude, and you don't mind it spending at least 50% of its time in the shop, then you need a TVR (british politically uncorrect cars) makes the 60's american muscle cars look slow and fat, ironicly the power trend was started by an american motoring journalist by the name of Jack Griffith, he was to TVR what shelby was to AC. This was again around the 60's, and they were imported too.

Also to be fair to TVR a friend has had an older Chimera 4.0 V8 and had no problems with it.
