I was wondering if there are any methods out there for re-sealing Monokote that has been exposed to oily engine exhaust. Some corners have begun to peel up a bit, and no matter how much I clean the area, the adhesive is reluctant to stick when heated.

Thanks...

you've also cleaned the glue off.. if i'm lazy i use cyno, if not i'll get out the clearcote which helps films to stick when ironing

Buy some Balsarite adhesive (for film). You can also use it to fuelproof tank compartments.
